This variety of clematis is called Nelly Moser, it is a hardy deciduous perennial plant that puts out tendrils to assist it to climb. It had large distinctive single flowers and has a vigorous growth. The roots like to be kept cool so planting it amongst other plants, with plenty of root space is advisable.
